2007 NFL Draft: Sleepers
by Michael Abromowitz, 4/6/07

My favorite list when it comes to the NFL Draft:  the sleeper list. It gives us draft experts the chance to show our true prowess.  Every expert considers Calvin Johnson to be a stud.  My adorable little cousin Rachel in Cleveland, Ohio could tell you that (she could also sing a song about it too).  The true so called draft expert is able to identify the not so exposed talent, or in this business, the sleepers.  Just to note, prospects like Justin Durant of Hampton and Ben Patrick of Delaware are not sleepers.  They may have gone to small schools, but both are projected in the first three rounds and are pretty well known and accepted as solid prospects in the draft community.  I present to you, my sleeper list.

QB Jeff Rowe, Nevada, 6-5, 226, 4.98
Big and very accurate arm.

QB Lester Ricard, Tulane, 6-5, 222, 4.95
Great arm strength and size.

RB Justise Hairston, Central Connecticut State, 6-0.5, 211, 4.55
Former Rutgers players, strong runner, very tough to tackle.

FB Jesse Allen, Virginia Tech, 6-0, 243, 4.56
A old-school fullback, pure blocking.

WR Roy Hall, Ohio State, 6-2, 229, 4.41
Great size and speed, only problem at OSU was Ginn and Gonzalez.

Speed demon, fastest guy in the draft.

WR Jordan Kent, Oregon, 6-4, 221, 4.50
Three sport athlete, father is Oregon's basketball coach.

TE Kevin Boss, Western Oregon, 6-7, 270, 4.85
A tight end and a former college basketball player, enough said.
