NFL Draft Prospect Interview: Onrea Jones, WR, Hampton
by Michael Abromowitz, 4/12/07.  Hampton University is becoming a division 1-AA powerhouse in producing NFL talent.  Five Hampton NFL prospects were invited to the NFL Combine, more than most 1-A programs.  Those players were Justin Durant LB, Alonzo Coleman RB, Travarous Bain CB, Marquay McDaniel WR, and Onrea Jones WR.   Durant seems to be getting all the headlines recently, but don’t discount the others, especially Onrea Jones.  Jones is very athletic wide receiver with great leaping ability (39 inch vertical).  He finished his career at Hampton with 96 receptions, 1359 receiving yards, and 7 touchdowns.
