Onrea Jones: Strengths
would be good hands and route running. Improvements would have to be
consistent
run blocking.

Onrea Jones: Calvin
Bannister and Travarous Bain.
What is your greatest football moment to
date?
Onrea Jones: It would
have
to be the Richmond playoff game. I had 11
catches for 192 and 1 touchdown.
Did you have a favorite pro team growing
up?
Favorite player?
Onrea Jones: Growing up
it
would be the Redskins. My favorite player
would have to be Jerry Rice.
When you get your first professional
paycheck what is
the first thing you will buy?
Onrea Jones: I have no
idea. I guess what ever it is that I
need to survive at the time.
How have you been preparing and training
since the end
of your college season?
Onrea Jones: I was
training at Saint
Vincent training
facility in Indianapolis. After the
combine I am currently training
here at Hampton University.
Do you have any goals in mind when it comes
to the NFL
Draft?
Onrea Jones: To make the
squad.
What is the one thing you will most miss at
college?
Onrea Jones: Just the
whole college atmosphere.
Where is the best place to get a bite to
eat in Hampton?
Onrea Jones: CiCi’s Pizza.
What was your favorite college course and
why?
Onrea Jones: It was
African American History. Well because
other than hearing brief information from your parents, we actually
went into
depth in the subject.
What have former college teammates now in
the NFL told
you about preparing for the league?
Onrea Jones: Just to continue
to
work and never become satisfied, always stay hungry.
Any pregame rituals? Food?
Music?
Onrea Jones: I always
write Phil. 4:13 on both of my wrist and my family’s name.
As far as food I just ate whatever was
prepared for the pregame. I always
listened to Gospel or slow jams throughout the day to keep me calm and
relaxed. Then like 30 min. before going
out for warm-ups I would pop in either 3-6 Mafia or Pastor Troy.
What is something football fans may not
know about you?
Onrea Jones: That I am goofy
at
times.
Do you read mock drafts or what draft
experts have to
say?
Onrea Jones: I do, but I
never pay attention to what is being said.
What do you plan to do once your playing
career is
over?
Onrea Jones: I am
studying
Political Science right now and would like to go to Law School and study Sports Law.
