Strengths:  Has the NFL size for a QB.  Has one of the strongest arms in college football.  Displays awesome zip on the football.  Can make some of the most beautiful throws I’ve seen this season.  He displays awesome touch on the football.  Can make all the NFL throws.  Has a nice play action.  Stands strong in the pocket; does a good job of keeping his eyes down the field.  Shows good accuracy on short passes.  Able to go through reads and find the open man; needs to be more consistent in this area though.  Looks like a strong leader.  Experience in a pro style offense.  Has potential to be a star QB.

Weaknesses:  Struggles under pressure.  Tends to forces passes, throw off his back foot and make poor decisions.  Overall accuracy is very inconsistent.  Awareness is a concern.  There are times when he doesn’t sense pressure.  Inconsistent decision maker.  He is not athletic and makes poor throws on the run.

Summary:  Mike Glennon has potential to be really good in the NFL.  He has one of the strongest arms in the country; capable of making any NFL throw.  However, his inconsistent play really has me worried.  He struggles a lot versus pressure, which causes his accuracy to suffer and he tends to make poor decisions.   However, Mike Glennon has a lot to offer an NFL team and his potential is through the roof.  I think Glennon will do well to take a year to learn behind a veteran QB.  He’s got a ton of potential and the leadership skills; he just needs to take time to develop.  Right now, I have a mid to late 2nd round grade on him but his grade could rise with a good off season.

Draft Projection: 2nd -3rd round
