the Eagles' 28th pick depends a lot on who the select with the their 21st pick.

the Eagles will not decide of Shawn Andrews is the left tackle or not until they get the opportunity to select a offensive tackle in the first round. if the top four tackles and Britton go before 21 then Shawn Andrews is the left tackle.

if the Eagles select Britton or trade up for Oher if he drops past 13, then the Eagles will go with either Pettigrew, Wells or Moreno at 28.

if the top four tackles and Britton go then the Eagles will look for some combination of Wells/Nicks, Pettigrew/Moreno. i don't think Pettigrew will get past Atlanta at#24.

personally, i like Moreno over Wells because he has receiving skills the Eagles use and if Westbrook moves on in a couple of years the Eagles are going to have to acquire a talented and versatile running back to compliment Wells because he isn't very versatile himself. Duece McCallister is still an option at running back.

then there is the opposing arguement to the Eagles going wide receiver because the Eagles can pick up a running back later because they don;t need a first round running back because they don't run that often. that is a very logical arguement. i like Shonn Greene from Iowa a lot or Ian Johnson from Boise State much late in the draft.

if the Eagles get the opportunity, i like the Eagles to draft Pettigrew at #21, Moreno and #28 and use the third round selection to move up in the second to select William Beatty out of Connecticut and trade up a few of those 5th round picks to get back into the third round. in the third round i'd like the Eagles to target receiver and defensive tackle.
