Falcons Might Dump McClure For Newberry

Per a league source, long-time starting center Todd McClure has been boycotting offseason workouts. We're told that he is contemplating retiring or holding out if he doesn't get a new contract.

Now we gotta look at center in the draft as well....... I was saying Mack a few months ago and I still feel he is the pick for the Falcons future......

Alex Mack, C, Cal- I'm gonna say it again he is the best lineman in this draft period................ A long term anchor for the O.F.......

Personaly I would like to see us trade down with our #1 pick and draft something like this.......

I don't get why people have chosen Pettigrew when all positions on Defence are a need. Personally, I'd like to see either a DT like Hood or an OLB like Clay Matthews in the 1st if we don't trade. If Malcolm Jenkins slips up to us, I'd love to take him. But is that ever going to happen.
