If the Saints want Beanie or Knowshon Moreno they should def try to trade down to try to get an extra pick after sending one to the Giants for Shockey.

I am a Pierre Thomas fan and believes he can be a solid starter.

Default It will be Jenkins.

The NO Saints want Malcom Jenkins, but I am not sure if he will fall to them it will depend on his pro-day work out.

Thumbs up

Since the Saints picked up Jabari Greer and may pick up Sharper from the Vickings, They will use this pick to get another linebacker to play next to Vilma. They will probably grab either Brian Cushing as a strong side linebacker or James Laurinaitis ,since he improved his 40, as middle then move Vilma to Weakside.

Right now, if either Malcolm Jenkins or Brian Cushing make it to NO, that is the prospect I am targeting. I really doubt both are there. In regards to Wells, his 40 really helped (I have had him #1 RB whole time), but I don't think it can move him in the top 10 because of team's draft needs. Not too many teams have major needs at running back. Cleveland probably has the biggest, but I think #5 may be too high. New Orleans and Houston both could draft a RB, but I don't see in the first round. If Cushing and Jenkins are gone, then I can understand, and won't be completely shock. Houston may pass on a RB in round 1 because they have their starter in Slaton and as a 2nd year man, what kind of message does it tell your starter that you just used a 1st round pick on a RB and he will be paid far more money than you. Houston will draft a RB in this draft, but not in round 1.

Arrow

The Saints have the number 1 offense in the NFl, and they have major gaps in their defense. If they draft anything but a defensive starter it would be a waist of a pick. They need someone who would fin Greg Williams pressure Defense like Cushing.

Default No Offensive Players

We do not need any players on the offensive side of the ball. I don't care how fast Beanie Wells is. We can score at will with the team we have. The problem is we can't stop anyone from scoring. We have to take Jenkins if he is available. If he is not then we can trade down and still get a good DB and LB with the extra pick that we get from trading down.
