trade the pick to Philly for picks #21 and #52 and a 2010 4th rounder.
with the 21st pick the Packers select Evander Hood, DT, Missouri
a good start to the new 3-4 defense

I think it is every team's desire to trade down, but what is Philly's reason to trade up? No value at a RB there, no value at TE, OT.

Philly usually likes to trade down so I can't imagine them trading up to #9.

Even though Smith had a bad work out he is the prototypical Eagles OT. With the 28th pick they can get Moreno. How about a WR for McNabb…maybe Macklin.

Dont they have like 13 picks in this years draft? I know they got a boat load of picks.

Default The Eagles have 11 pikcks

1.21, 1.28 (From CAR), 2.21, 3.21, 4.21, 5.5 (From CLE), 5.17 (From NYJ), 5.21, 6.21, 6.22 (From MIN), 7.21

The Eagles have 11 picks, BUT only 4 in the top 3.

The Eagles aren't going to use all 11 picks, but they aren't going to sacrifice high picks. The Eagles are going to probably try to trade 2 of those 5th round picks to move up.

The Eagles won't trade up to get Maclin especially if they could get DHB or Harvin at 21.

Default Trade

The Packers should trade to the lions if Raji isn't there. This would allow the lions to take a tackle at 1 and a QB at nine. The packers still would get great value at #20 and whatever other picks they would pick up. Think about Cleveland with Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn; The Cowboys made out well in that deal.

I doubt that Raji will fall to the Packers at 9. He has to make it past the Seahawks, Bengals, Raiders, and Jaguars.

I agree that they might trade down with the Eagles for their two first rounders if they are that desperate.

If the value isnt there and someone else thinks the value for them is there, then you trade back if you like what they are offering, I dont think that means your desperate.

It would be out of their character , but if Maclin or Crabtree were still on the board at 9 and they really like one of them,it wouldnt surprise me. Kevin curtis didnt do much after coming back from the injury last year and yes DeSean Jackson looked good at times, but Maclin or Crabtree would come in and be a solid 1 receiver for them. I know they need a tackle and would like another RB, but this is a viable option.
