Default Wideout for the Black Hole

Crabtree or Maclin. Guaranteed.

Russell needs a target. Crabtree would be perfect, but he might not be there. If not, Maclin has the speed Al Davis loves.

Al Davis despite all the expert testimony to the contrary rarely uses his #1 picks on Skill. Russell and McFadden are aberrations.

The last WR Davis took in the first round is Tim Brown, before that he never drafted a WR in round 1.

Yes he loves speed but he likes to draft speed later in the draft.
Davis will not take a WR with the #7 pick in the draft.

I can only buy your argument as far as Maclin. With the Raiders greatest need meeting a golden opportunity, I can't see Crazy Al passing up Crabtree.

I concur, if Al has a chance to take Crabtree he will take him. We all know Al Davis loves speed, but more than that he loves hype and "star" quality, which Crabtree has. Crabtree is the guy who will sell jerseys and get fans pumped.

"Crazy" Al Davis isn't smart enough to draft Crabtree!

Default OT

the raiders will not pick a WR in round 1. There is better value in later rounds. OT is a much bigger need. Doesn't everybody know that has been our weakest link the past six years? Also some of the best WR in history weren't drafted in Rd 1. Duh!!!

If Crabtree is available Al will take him. But i hope that is the only reciever that he wants at #7 dont think Maclin is worth it, Raji would be nice and wouldnt be upset about smith, monroe but once again dont believe Oher fits into the zbs.
