Default Interactive Mock Draft - Picks are decided by Polling

We will start our first interactive mock draft. The entire mock draft will be done on this thread. With each pick, a poll will come up with who that team will draft. For most of the picks, I will put at least 6-8 options to allow for almost any possibility. There will always be an "other" selection for people to give their write in candidate.

The draft will start with: Who should the Lions draft with the #1 pick?
The options will be put up and anyone will be able to vote. Because this is the first time and some parts of the day have far different traffic #s than others I won't put a time frame yet on when the Lions' pick ends. I also won't put a cap on how many picks we need to close the polling.

Hopefully, after the first couple picks I will have a better idea and change the rules accordingly.

With the polls over in the NFL Draft section, it would be nice to get at least 300 per poll. I estimate this draft to take about 2 weeks.

This should be really interesting and fun. The results will be posted on the website. After each pick is finished, I will add the results to the first post. Enjoy!

1. Detroit Lions - Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia - 62% - (Andre Smith - 18.5%, Eugene Monroe -11.11%)
2. St. Louis Rams -

Good idea Michael............ I really like the fast lay out on this one, shoot and run..........

Damn, That sounds like a Giants WR play book move.............

I am interested to see so many people for Matthew Stafford. I believe it is almost impossible to pass on a franchise QB if you need one, but many Lions fans have made sure to show how much they DIDN'T want a QB.

I ended the Lions' pick. Stafford had far more support than any other prospect, and I wanted to move on so we can get this done in a 2 week period. The Rams are up.

There is a problem, we are unable to revote. I thought recycling the poll would work, it hasn't. Working on it.

Default Interactive Mock Draft - Voting done by Polling

We are now on pick 2, St. Louis. I did the fix. Every pick, I have to make a new thread, and merge the two and deleting the old poll. An extra 5 minute hassle, but it prevents anyone from not being able to vote and allows us to keep the same url link.

I'm not sold he is #1, but he was picked by the majority in our first poll. This draft is decided solely by the polls.

How the hell can you be sold on any high pick.......... Ya won't know until they play in the Pro's.............

The Falcons made a helluva pick with Ryan but hindsight is exactly that...........

You gotta put the puzzle together on the team needs........ Calvin needs Stafford........... JMO..............
