Post October mock draft

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers :Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
Lots of needs for this team but in top five you have to draft with positionnal value, as QB and left tackle are set, McCoy is the pick : He's versatile, can rush the passer and defend against the run.

2. StLouis Rams: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
For now he is the most impressive quaterback in college so he's the pick here even if that team needs help everywhere.

3. Detroit Lions : Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
The Lions need a force inside and Suh is a big one as he can defend against the run and also rush the passer. Schwartz will reinforce the defense first and take a tackle in next round.

4. Cleveland Browns : Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Of course with their situation at QB they could take one here but if i like a lot Bradford as a college QB i'm not sure he will translate well in next level so they'd better take a great safety here. I think Bradford should come back to OKH for his senior season. Berry is a day one starter for the Browns.

5. Kansas City Chiefs : Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma St
They have lots of needs, especially on defense but they have to protect Cassell better, he's a good quaterback but always needs time before throwing so Okung will help.

6. Oakland Raiders : Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
I bet Seymour will sign a new contract with the Raiders and so they won't take Dunlap here ; No linebackers deserve this spot so giving more time to Russell to throw the ball would not be a bad idea.

7. Seattle Seahawks : Taylor Mays, S, USC
Pick acquired from Denver; Would you trade Mays for Alphonso Smith ? It's what McDaniels did. Mays is a very good player, plays at a position of need and he's a local kid so it's an obvious choice.

8. Buffalo Bills : Brian Bulaga, OT, Iowa
They have two young guards who had a good start but without a good left tackle that team is going nowhere.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars : Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma St
A bit high for a receiver and i think the Jags would trade out of this spot but if not, Bryant is a very good athlete with good hands and would help Garrard or someone else.

10. San Francisco 49ers : Terrance Cody, NT, Alabama
« Mount Cody » would help them a lot against the run and would allows Willis &co to make more plays.

11. Miami Dolphins : Michael Crabtree, WR,
The 'Phins need a number 1 WR and Crabtree could be a tremendous one.

12. Washington Redskins : Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida
No QB worth this pick so adding Dunlap would create a great front seven.

13. Seattle Seahawks : Joe Haden, CB, Florida
They need a tackle but they could land one in second round, Haden will play in week 1.

14. Dallas Cowboys : Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida
Brooking is still good but Spikes will add youth to the depth chart before taking over a starting spot.

15. San Franciso 49ers : Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois
They need a young receiver after the Crabtree's disaster. I don’t think Singletary will take one in first round but…

16. NewYork Jets : Corey Wooton, DE, Northwestern
Ryan will try to make that defense better again like he did in Baltimore; Wooton is not Ngata but he sure can play end in a 34 system.

17. Tennessee Titans : Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss
Too much DE will be free-agent in 2010 so they need insurance. For now between Hardy, Morgan and Griffen I pick the first one but it could change.

18. Cincinnatti Bengals : CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson
Benson is playing better than i thought but is not their future at this position.

19. GreenBay Packers : Charles Brown, OT, USC
The Packs need to add depth to the O-Line.

20. Houston Texans : Patrick Robinson, CB, Florida St
Corner or safety the Texans need help in the secondary.

21. Denver Broncos : Jevan Snead, QB, Ole Miss
Orton is not their future at the position and I think Snead is a better prospect than McCoy.

22. Arizona Cardinals : Sergio Kindle, OLB, USC
Character issues but good pass rushing skills.

23. Philadelphia Eagles : Ciron Black, OT, LSU
Andrews is injured again so that team with a good running game would want to solidify the right side of the O-Line.

24. Indiana Colts : Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
The Colts need to improve their defense against the run.

25. Atlanta Falcons : Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
Best player at a position of need for the Falcons even if a DE would be a great addition too.

26. NewOrleans Saints : Arthur Jones, DE, Syracuse
S.Ellis needs help facing Williams-Stewart, Turner and Ward twice a year.

27. Minnesota Vikings : Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Edwards is not their best defensive player and will be free-agent.

28. NewEngland Patriots : Micah Johnson, LB, Kentucky
They need someone next to Mayo and Johnson could be that guy.

29. SanDiego Chargers : Damian Williams, WR, USC
Chambers is old and free-agent in 2010 so Rivers will need a new weapon.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers : Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
Big Ben is the best separating from pass rushers but protecting him better would be a good idea though.

31. Baltimore Ravens : Brandon Ghee, CB, Wake Forest
Corner is still a position of need for the Ravens.

32. Newyork Giants : Reshad Jones, S, Georgia
Few needs for the champs and Jones could add depth or replace Phillips if his career ends.

33. Tampa Bay Buccaneers : Trevard Lindley, CB, Kentucky
The defense need help at every position and more again at corner.

34. StLouis Rams: Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Spags would like to draft a guy who could play end or OLB.

35. Detroit Lions : Sam Young, OT, Notre Dame
Finally they take someone to protect Stafford, Young is not the best but he's at least better than Backus.

36. Cleveland Browns : Jahvid Best, RB, California
They have problems at QB so having a better running game would help.

37. Kansas City Chiefs : George Selvie, OLB, South Florida
A pass rusher who would help them a lot.

38. NewEngland Patriots : Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
Marroney is inconsistent so a new back would be great.

39. Denver Broncos : Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee
Their defensive coordinator would like to have a new NT in the middle of the 34.

40. Buffalo Bills : Vince Oghabaase, DT, Duke
Stroud is awesome but can't do it all.

41. Oakland Raiders : Rico McCoy, LB, Tennessee
Free-agency will hurt them at linebacker so they'd better draft one early.

42. Carolina Panthers : Jared Odrick, DT, Penn St
They really have problems with their D-Line and will try to fix it with Odrick.

43. Miami Dolphins : Eric Norwood, OLB, South Carolina
Porter and Taylor are aging.

44. Washington Redskins : Jason Fox, OT, Miami
Who is their RT ? Okay take one. Maybe Snyder would take Tebow ?

45. Seattle Seahawks : Selvish Capers, OT, West Virginia
Capers can’t replace W.Jones but will add depth at least.

46. Dallas Cowboys : Darrell Stuckey, S, Kansas
Everybody except Jones knows they need a safety.

47. San Franciso 49ers : Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise St
The niners need help at corner and Wilson can also help their return game.

48. NewYork Jets : Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU
Give more weapons to Sanchez and the Jets’ fans will see a playoffs game.

49. NewEngland Patriots : Mike Williams, WR, Syracuse
They need a number 2 next to Moss with Walker in the slot.

50. Cincinnatti Bengals : Sergio Render, G, Virginia
Render one year after A.Smith just to make Palmer healthier.

51. GreenBay Packers : Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
Austin could play end in their 34 with his speed.

52. Houston Texans : Mike Johnson, G, Alabama
The O-line is still too weak to reach the play-offs.

53. Chicago Bears : Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan
Of course a MLB like Pawelek would help right now but Urlacher will be back in 2010.

54. Arizona Cardinals : Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
A risky pick because he’s often injured but too talented to pass-up in the second round.

55. Philadelphia Eagles : Perry Riley, LB, LSU
Not sold on this guy but Gocong, Jordan...you understand their problem.

56. Indiana Colts : Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Ugoh is not the answer at tackle.

57. Kansas City Chiefs : Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
Cassell needs weapons to justify his contract.

58. NewOrleans Saints : Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
A safety would not be a luxury pick in NewOrleans.

59. Minnesota Vikings : Kristopher O'Dowd, C, USC
They're missing Birk and they find here a good replacement.

60. NewEngland Patriots : Brandon Lang, DE, Troy
Another pass rusher guy for the Patriots.

61. SanDiego Chargers : Evan Royster, RB, Penn St
LT is near the end of his great career.
.
62. Pittsburgh Steelers : Nate Allen, S, South Florida
Depth pick and insurance if Polamalu gets injured again.

63. Baltimore Ravens : Marshawn Gylyard, WR, Cincinnatti
Flacco is great but he will loose his favorite target in Mason.

64. Newyork Giants : Sean Lee, LB, Penn St
Depth or replacement for AP.

Default Comments on your mock draft

Predicting the 2010 draft for the first 2 rounds is difficult @this early date. I think you did a very good job except for the following exceptions:

I believe that QB's McCoy, Bradford, And Tebow will all be drafted in the first 64 players. I just do not know where.
The Univ of Houston QB will also go in the first 64

Overall great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
