2008 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings
by Michael Cooper
Radio Host
7/27/08

#1  Randy Moss – 23 Touchdowns and Tom Brady – Period.

#2  Terrell Owens – seems to like Dallas - maybe he’s finally settled.

#3  Reggie Wayne – if Marvin makes a comeback he may be too high and if Marvin doesn’t play he may be too low.

#4  Braylon Edwards – I may be too optimistic about the Cleveland offense but they just light it up and he’s the #1 threat.

#5  Plaxico Burress – Super Bowl champ – imagine the season he’s going to have playing healthy with a confident Eli.

#6  Larry Fitzgerald – highest paid player for a reason.

#7  T J  Houshmanzada
#1 guy for Carson Palmer.

#8  Steve Smith – could be much higher if his quarterback gets healthy.

# 9  Andre Johnson – I think he blows up this season as The Texans offense begins to gel.

#10  Marques Colston – Drew Brees favorite target.

#11  Wes Welker – never drops a pass and Brady loves him.

#12  Anquan Boldin – the #2 guy in a passing offense or he would be higher.

#13  Chad Johnson – reduced to #2 status this year but he’s still great.

#14  Santonio Holmes
rises to #1 guy this year in a passing offense.

#15  Tory Holt
is great but his best days are behind him and the Rams are a mess.

#16  Greg Jennings
would be higher but I’m worried about his quarwrr back.

#17  Roy Williams
is a great receiver who doesn’t have a quarwrrback.

#18  Brandon Marshall
may drop out of my top 20 with the kind of off field summer he’s having – He might not even play!

#19  Donte Stallworth – I look forward to him having the kind of year he had with Philly - but can he stay healthy for an entire season?

#20 Marvin Harrison – He’s a legend and can’t be forgotten.

#21 Isaac Bruce – Mike Martz sees something and that’s good enough for me.

#22 Donald Driver – simply one of the most consiswrnt wide receivers in the league year in and year out but no Brett this season.
