Tom Brady
Peyton Manning

1. Drew Brees, NO - Was 15 yards away from statistical immortality.

2.
Tom Brady, NE - All indications are the knee is 100% healed.

3.
Peyton Manning, IND - Harrison is gone, but Anthony Gonzalez is ready to step up.

4. Kurt Warner, ARI -
Even Brenda could produce with those WR

5. Aaron Rodgers, GB -
Better numbers than Favre, multiple talented WR’s.

6.
Philip Rivers, SD - San Diego will not throw 60% of time again this year.

7. Donovan McNabb, PHI -
Has the most talent at WR he has ever had.

8. Tony Romo, DAL -
Losing T.O. can’t help his numbers, can it?

9. Jay Cutler, CHI -
Makes his receivers better, changes Bears entire playbook.

10. Matt Ryan, ATL -
Should improve with Tony G as his safety valve.

11. Matt Schaub, HOU -
Averaged 320 yards per game in last four.

12.
Carson Palmer, CIN - Lost Housh, but still has Coles, Henry and #85 and is healthy again.

13. Matt Hasselbeck, SEA -
Healthy, can take full advantage of talented O.

14. Eli Manning, NYG -
The offense is going to get more vertical this year.

15. Ben Roethlisberger, PIT -
Taken 40+ sacks in each of last two years.

16. Brett Favre, MIN –
Will probably throw less than in years past due to AP.

17. Chad Pennington, MIA -
’08: Career high in yards (3,653), 2nd highest TD (19).

18. Matt Cassel, KC –
Knee injury limits fantasy value further.

19. David Garrard, JAC -
Torry Holt helps keep Garrard relevant as a fill in.

20. Jason Campbell, WAS -
Can Snyder get this guy a WR other than S Moss?

21. Jake Delhomme, CAR -
Has Steve Smith and best RB tandem in NFL.

22. Trent Edwards, BUF -
T.O. elevates fantasy status thanks to potential “Double Tud”

23. Kyle Orton, DEN –
Auspicious preseason, Brandon Marshall AWOL doesn’t help value.

24. Shaun Hill, SF -
15 TD in 8 starts in ’08 but also 8 INT.

25. Joe Flacco, BAL -
Questionable value; WR position shaky, has 3 headed RB monster

26. Kerry Collins, TEN -
Only 12 TD in ’08, no weapons at WR. Titans are run first.

27. Brady Quinn, CLE -
Who is his #2 WR? Is Braylon even a #1 anymore?

28. Derek Anderson,CLE -
Quinn is front runner, but went to Pro Bowl in ‘07.

29. Marc Bulger, STL -
Outside of Donnie Avery, not much talent to throw to.

30. Mark Sanchez, NYJ -
3,965 yards and 41 touchdowns in 16 starts at USC.

31. JaMarcus Russell, OAK -
Can DHB & JLH step up? Avg 200+ & 2 TD last 3 weeks.

32. Byron Leftwich, TB -
Is the early favorite for starter, but Freeman could overtake.

33. Matt Stafford, DET -
Hoping he doesn’t end up like Harrington, Ware or Long.

34. Jeff Garcia, OAK -
Unless he starts, fantasy value extremely limited.

35. Josh Freeman, TB -
He appears to be even more pro ready than the Bucs thought.

36. Vince Young, TEN
- Don’t laugh; one hit away from starting.

37. Daunte Culpepper, DET -
It appears he will only start if
Stafford is injured.

38. Tarvaris Jackson, MIN -
Sprained MCL already, confidence is way down.

39. Kellen Clemens, NYJ -
Drafting of Sanchez is definite demotion.

40. Luke McCown, TB -
I needed someone at 40! And I wasn’t comfortable w/Grossman.
